The practice are one of the world's leading Architectural firms, with approximately 500 people working within the company worldwide. With offices in the UK, China, Singapore and the United States, the practice offer a truly global service encompassing a broad range of sectors and project types. Projects generally tend to be huge in both size and value, covering areas and sectors such as; Airports, large scale Commercial and Mixed Use, Leisure, Workplaces, and multi storey Residential buildings. Offering services across the whole Architectural spectrum including; Masterplanning, Urban Design, Landscape and Interiors.

The practice have embraced the flexible/hybrid working model, and Architects have full autonomy over there preference when it comes to an office/home working split. Some staff members are working one day a week in the office and 4 from home, where others are opting to attend the office more frequently. The choice would ultimately be yours long term, although in the first 2-3 months it may be sensible to attend the office 2-3 days a week at least.
Being based in the lovely town of Newark, the practice is easily accessible from Nottingham, Lincoln, Chesterfield and even further afield for those travelling from Leicester, Derby and Sheffield. The office is a short walk from Newark train station, with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and convenience shops nearby.
The Role - Architect
The role on offer within this practice is for an Architect with approximately 2-4 years of post qualification experience, ideally an Architect that is accustomed to working on large scale projects in the Mixed-Use or Commercial sectors. You'll be working on multi-million pound schemes, that will be based both in the UK and internationally.
This is an opportunity for you as an Architect to really showcase your design flair. The role will emphasise on the early stages of the RIBA cycle of work, predominantly within stages 1-4. Delivery end experience will be looked upon favourably, but isn't necessarily essential to this position.
As an Architect, you will be working both autonomously and as part of a team so you must be comfortable in both settings.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
·Fully qualified Architect with UK recognised Part 1, 2 and 3 qualifications.
·ARB registration
·At least 2 years of post qualification experience, ideally in delivering large scale commercial or mixed use projects.
·Passion for design and ability to showcase that design flair in the early RIBA stages.
·Proficiency in the use of Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD and the Adobe Suite.
·Strong communicative skills, both written and verbal.
·Eligibility to work within the UK is essential
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
The successful Architect will be offered a salary in the region of £32,000-£40,000 dependent on industry experience, along with a competitive benefits package.
