Architect

A highly adept RIBA Chartered Architect is required to join an award-winning Architectural Design Studio in Chelmsford.

 

This well-established practice specialises in the Residential, Commercial, Retail, Education and Community sectors. With a reputation for approaching their work with passion, integrity, creativity and practicality, this close-knit team pride themselves on building lasting and loyal relationships with their clients and have acquired a fantastic reputation as a highly trusted consultancy.

 

The company are well-placed to continue to push forward and build on previous successes. As such, they are now looking to add an Architect that can bring energy to the office along with a friendly and helpful personality that can add true value to the team.

 

The role will give the incoming Architect the opportunity to work on the firm’s growing workload which currently includes projects within the Residential sector for national housebuilders and private developers alongside projects within the aforementioned sectors too.

 

Within the role the successful Architect will work alongside the planning team to support the planning application process in preparing applications, design and access statements and produce presentation work to enhance the application documents - Preparing design reviews and drawings and presenting to clients too.

 

You will be expected to be able to work independently or as part of a team reporting to a Director.

 

Architect Requirements:

  • RIBA Chartered / ARB Registered Architect
  • Min 2-3 years post qualification UK experience
  • Capable of running multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fully proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Indesign and Photoshop
  • Confident communication skills particularly in a client-facing capacity

 

 

The salary on offer is likely to be around £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) plus generous annual leave allowance and other benefits.
