An experienced Architectural Technologist with excellent Team Leadership responsibilities is required to undertake the role of Architectural Team Leader to spearhead a multitude of large scale high value development projects on behalf of a growing Architectural Practice located in Harrogate.

This large 50 strong Chartered Architectural Practice in Harrogate have a welcoming and vibrant contemporary studio space which has recently been extensively refurbished, situated on the top floor of a high-rise commercial building with expansive views over Harrogate town and the surrounding countryside this really is a terrific environment to enjoy the very best of collaborative working.

The successful candidate will be immersed into a varied workbook made up of commercial Workspace, large housing developments, Retail, and I&L schemes. For all projects, our client provide the whole service solution from inception through to completion with a strong focus on both design and technical.

Their work is 100% Level 2 BIM, Revit based, and they have a solid track record in upskilling people new to BIM & Revit which is would really suit someone who is keen to learn the software in a practical environment.

As Architectural Team leader you will manage projects from inception through to completion, developing ideas for clients. You will lead a team of Architects and Technologists with the support of an Associate Director who helps with aid resource management and BD activities. To aid your ongoing development, you will join their Leadership development programme, including courses led by external providers.

Further criteria for the Architectural Team Leader.

  • A degree in Architectural Technology or RIBA / ARB affiliated Project Architect with circa 7-10 years' experience.
  • Have an extensive Architectural background ideally within a busy Architectural Practice or consultancy Environment.
  • Demonstrable Job Running and site coordination / Design Coordination & project delivery experience
  • Experience in dealing with the demands of key clients and tight deadlines.
  • Varied sector experience including Commercial, Logistics and/or Retail
  • Experience in producing and managing the coordination of complex construction working drawings packages.
  • Well-rounded designer who is a good communicator, ambitious and thrive on fast-paced teamwork
  • Good working knowledge of current Building Regulations and NBS Create
  • Proficient in REVIT software & good understanding of BIM methodologies
  • CDM 2015 knowledge – advantageous
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills

Salary offered depending on experience is between £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus the following associated benefits.
