Experienced Architectural Technologist required to support a variety of projects initially within the Student Accommodation, Industrial, Manufacturing and distribution sectors for an award winning Architectural Practice based in Guiseley, LS20.
Our client, a traditional medium to large sized practice have a robust historical portfolio of varied clients spanning multiple sectors and are fortunate to have remained very busy this year! After securing several long term projects they are forecasting to increase their headcount with the addition of an ambitious Architectural Technologist to work on a variety of projects, across a range of sectors. The initial focus of project work is to assist in the Technical design and subsequent delivery of various distribution and logistics projects across the UK. Cross sector experience is preferred, whilst they have dedicated projects teams all design members of staff are encouraged to broaden their project knowledge which in turn offers real variety.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a good working understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop design software and Microsoft Office suite. Alongside a good in-depth technical knowledge required is a respectable all-rounder, familiar with the technical delivery stages (3-4) of RIBA and be adept at delivering projects in a job running capacity.

Education / Qualifications
- MCIAT Architectural Technologist with circa 3-5 years’ experience (more or less will be considered)
- Degree / HNC experience qualified Technologist
- Architectural Practice background
Skills & Experience of the Architectural Technologist.
- Practical design experience across various building types.
- An excellent approach and attitude toward high quality design solutions.
- Technically competent designer who has experience of projects from inception to completion.
- Ability to quickly undertake sketch/feasibility schemes to assess site viability.
- IT literate in terms of all current computer packages and presentation software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop).
- Excellent hand-drawing, illustration and presentation skills, capable of producing meticulous working drawing packages.
On offer is a competitive salary (DOE) in the region of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum which comes with a generous benefits package and the option for home and flexible working.
