Architectural Technologist required to join a large multiple award winning AJ100 multi-disciplinary Architectural practice located in a striking contemporary studio space in Leeds City centre.

They work on a real mixture of landmark projects from concept - completion, many of them local including Schools, University buildings, Residential developments, Commercial workplace, and everything in between. Their work is all done in REVIT, so all new hires in the business are expected to have a solid foundation in using REVIT to a good standard.

The successful Architectural Technologist will have the opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment to deliver technical and detailed design packages of information on large-scale, complex projects across multiple sectors from concept to completion.

Expected Tasks and Responsibilities for the Architectural Technologist.

  • Working understanding of the Planning process and Building Regulations
  • Capable of independently producing and reviewing technical packages of information
  • Ability to work under own initiative, establishing a proactive method of working
  • Good written, verbal and graphical communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Resourcefulness and willingness to research and develop new ideas and solutions. Where appropriate assist with Client Liaison and attend design team meetings with other professionals.
  • Develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the practices procedures and standards.

Qualifications / Experience required for the Architectural Technologist.

  • BSc Architectural Technology, or equivalent.
  • Software – Revit Proficiency.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package with in depth knowledge of Revit drafting software
  • Experience – Approx 3-5 years post-graduation, UK based experience.
  • Desirable: Keen to obtain MCIAT.

Remuneration:
In return, you will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience between £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, life assurance, pension and CPD programme.
Flexible working hours and hybrid working are also available.
