Outstanding opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join a burgeoning architectural practice based in Derby city centre.
Due to steady and sustainable growth over the last 6-12 months, the practice are now in a position to recruit an additional Architectural Technologist to their team. The practice have recently secured several large scale project awards in varied sectors, which means an Architectural Technologist is now required to join the project team to provide technical drawing support.
Reporting to the Project Architect or Directors, you will be working through most if not all RIBA stages, with an emphasis on tender and construction phase detailing. The ideal Architectural Technologist will have thorough knowledge of BIM protocols and significant Revit exeprience, coupled with a sound understanding of current building regulations.
The position would therefore suit an Architectural Technologist with approximately 2-5 years of industry experience, ideally having worked in a similar environment.
You will be working on a broad and diverse range of projects in areas such as; hotels, commercial, healthcare, education and more. Recent additions to the pipeline of work include a new build hotel that the successful Architectural Technologist will be assisting with.
Requirements of the Architectural Technologist as follows:
- Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
- Approx 2-5 years of industry experience, ideally in a private practice environment.
- Experience in a range of sectors, ideally on large scale mixed use/commercial projects.
- AutoCAD & Revit proficiency.
A salary in the region of £26,000-£32,000 will be on offer to the successful Architectural Technologist, negotiable dependant on experience.
