Architectural Technologist with circa 3-5 years’ experience required to join a friendly SME Architectural Practice located in their new studio space, a converted mill in Huddersfield complete with excellent local amenities and free parking.

Ambitious Architectural Technologists circa 5 years of UK based Architectural Practice experience would be the ideal level of experience, but more or less will be considered. An Architectural Technologist who is keen to be hands in working with their clients in a job running and client facing capacity, and ideally someone who is keen to learn how to run a small business and be involved in playing a leading role in it’s future.
Key Aspects of this Architectural Technologist position is as follows
- HNC / Degree qualified Architectural Technician / Technologist
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience within a UK based Architectural Practice.
- AutoCAD experience essential, a working knowledge of REVIT would be highly advantageous, training can be provided.
- Experience of working in the Residential sector.
- Work as part of a team of 3-4 fellow colleagues.
- Good knowledge of the Building Regulations and technical knowledge for the preparation of drawings at RIBA Stages 3 – 6.
- Ability to use Microsoft Teams for collaborating with the team.
- A person of good character, a team player and committed to excellent standards.
- Keen to play a hands-on role in the development of small business.
- Meticulous approach to construction detailing and a good knowledge of how buildings are constructed.
