Architectural Technologist

Architectural Technologists needed to join a large Manchester city-centre studio as they look to add to their already-experienced and talented Architectural team!

If you live and work in Greater Manchester you will almost certainly know the name of this company. They are a mainstay in the Manchester/North-West Architectural scene and have a studio that is home to over 70 employees in the city centre. They have a national and international reach, boasting a portfolio of completed projects across the breadth of the UK, and Europe too.

Owing to some exciting new project wins and further development of their existing client base, they are looking to add 1 or maybe 2 new hires to the team. This could be 2 Technologists, or even 1 Technologist and an Architect too. Aslong as the core criteria are met, they are willing to hear from a wide range of applicants interested in joining their thriving business. Before I dive into explaining the criteria, please read on for more info on who we are recruiting for.

This is a large, central Manchester Architectural studio that has been established for over 40 years. They have an excellent reputation in designing large buildings. These are mostly high-rise Residential developments and Hotels but could easily be anything of a similar nature. They have REVIT teams and AutoCAD teams, and are happy for candidates to come from either background and they can utilise skills in both/either. They can offer support and guidance to Architects and Technologists alike and a clear un-restricted path for progressing onto whatever the next stage in your development is.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree Qualification preferred (Architecture, Architectural Technology or similar).
  • Minimum of 2 years practical experience working in a UK-based Architectural practice/studio.
  • Good Technical knowledge. Do you know how a building is put together?
  • Effective communication skills: Verbal, written and presentation.
  • Good understanding of either AutoCAD or REVIT.
  • Ability to work as part of a team of Architectural professionals.

What can they offer?

  • Modern, city centre office.
  • Access to exciting, large-scale, portfolio-worthy projects.
  • Support and a clear path for progression.
  • Hybrid/Agile working.
  • Good, competitive salary and various employee focused benefits.
