Architectural Technologist required to support the delivery of various Healthcare projects for a prominent AJ100 Architectural Practice located within their regional studio in Leeds!
We are collaborating with a forward-thinking design Practice that retains a presence as one of West Yorkshire's most influential and design-led firms, boasting a successive record of perfectly executed commissions within the Healthcare, Residential, Commercial and Leisure sectors. The practice have established regional studios throughout the north of the UK and recently made a re-entry into the acclaimed AJ100 list of practices and have now firmly established themselves as one of the go-to practices in Leeds!
The successful Architectural Technologist will be immediately challenged with successfully coordinating various large scale & complex acute Healthcare projects, the immediate project demands are for a series of new build healthcare facilities both for the national health service and private healthcare providers. Our client need what they describe as an engine room signing, an individual who can seamlessly contribute to a wider technical team and become an import cog in the wheel.
Paramount to the success of this role is to secure the services of an Architectural Technologist who is keen to develop into client facing job running role or already comfortable running their own projects, ideally you will be able to evidence several multi million pound schemes (not essentially within healthcare ) that they have successfully supported project delivery from RIBA stages 4-7. As Architectural Technologist you will tasked with ensuring the technical design is meticulously delivered and be responsible for coordinating design consultants on site, proficient working knowledge of REVIT and all round excellent technical skills, you will recognise and understand how buildings are constructed and have a good all round construction knowledge.
Ideally the Architectural Technologist will have the following track record
- Degree qualified MCIAT (or working towards) Architectural Technologist minimum 3-5 years post qualification experience.
- Technical proficiency in REVIT and previous experience of delivering projects to BIM Level 2 standard.
- Some previous Commercial or Healthcare experience, complex buildings within your portfolio.
- Job running / site delivery experience or ready make the step up into a job running role
- Historically have successfully supported the delivery several multi million pound new build projects.
- Solid knowledge of UK Building regulations.
- Naturally excellent client facing and presentation skills.
- Excellent all round Technical knowledge and a through understanding of how buildings are constructed.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Keen to make a positive cultural influence in a growing business.
Salary depending on experience up to £35,000 - £40,000 + 25 days holiday, private healthcare, pension, non-discretionary bonus.
