Architectural Technologist

I’m partnering with my client, a vibrant AJ100 multidisciplinary studio in central London, to find an Architectural Technologist who thrives on tackling technical challenges and delivering standout design. You’ll join a collaborative team, working across a diverse project portfolio and helping shape quality outcomes at every stage.

What my clients are looking for -

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) Architectural Technologist with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Inquisitive mindset and eagerness to adopt new construction techniques
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, consultants and project teams
  • Solution-focused approach, able to produce accurate technical detailing under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills, ready to balance multiple projects when required

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in Revit to drive BIM workflows
  • Solid understanding of building construction and technology
  • Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into detailed technical information
  • Collaborative spirit for knowledge sharing across disciplines
  • Flexibility to adapt methods and resolve on-site or design office challenges

Desirable Skills

  • Experience on education sector schemes (schools, higher education)
  • Track record of coordinating external consultants and internal design colleagues
  • Familiarity with NBS specification processes
  • Competence in materials research and advising on performance criteria
  • Knowledge of statutory, legal and professional compliance on large-scale projects
