A pioneering House Builder in Sheffield are recruiting for a talented and ambitious Architectural Technologist to join their in-house design team and deliver award winning bespoke sustainably designed new build homes.

The successful Architectural Technologist will be joining a multiple award-winning developer who build homes that are sustainable by design and unique to the marketplace. Our clients energy efficient homes use the very best of Eco Technology, by going one step further than traditional new builds they feature solar panels, EV Charging points and Eco Friendly heat pumps. Their vision is to build sensitivity blended communities using innovative technologies and the very best materials.

Due to multiple new projects going through planning stages our client are looking for an Architectural Technologist who will help them create award winning neighbourhoods across the country with a particular focus in the South Yorkshire and Nottingham regions.

Required is a degree qualified Architectural Technologist with approximately 3-5 years’ experience who has excellent technical detailing capabilities and the ability to produce detailed construction drawing packages uses REVIT software. Our client does not have a standard house type model so an Architectural Technologist who also has a keen eye for design will also be looked upon favourably. In addition to excellent technical skills we need an individual who know the planning process, has an up-to-date knowledge of UK building regulations and ideally be familiar of working of working on residential projects that incorporate LGSF, Timber Frame and other MMC building methods.

Architectural Technologists who have a Residential background ideally within an Architectural Practice who are looking to make their step into the developer world or an Architectural Technician already working for a developer who is keen for something more design focussed and a more bespoke product, this opportunity could be for you!

The opportunity is based in our clients offices just south of Sheffield, the role is office based with occasional travel to site and flexibility will be afforded to those who require some working from home or have childcare pick ups and drop offs.  

Salary depending on experience and suitability £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus bonus.
