Conrad Consulting are working with a Manchester-based Architectural practice to find an Associate-level Architect to join a thriving Healthcare-sector team. This person will be undertaking various senior-level responsibilities and will join the company towards the top end of the management structure. As a Senior Architect, you will use your extensive experience in the Healthcare sector to lead design initiatives from concept through completion. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams - including clients, consultants, and contractors, to develop unique Architectural solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, and private medical facilities across the UK. This role will require not only a strong design awareness but also an understanding of the strong technical delivery within the various frameworks governing healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities of the Associate Architect will include:
- Lead and manage all phases of the architectural design process for healthcare projects, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and schedule.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions.
- Develop comprehensive Architectural plans, specifications, and presentation materials for client reviews.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior colleagues. Contributing to an environment of learning and innovation.
- Be aware of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare design to inform ongoing projects.
- Lead client presentations. Maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications/Experience of the Associate Architect should include:
- ARB/RIBA Chartership.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in a senior/management role.
- Proven experience working on Healthcare-sector projects
