Our client, an award-winning international construction consultancy, is currently seeking a talented and motivated Associate Building Surveyor to join their team in Leeds. As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading a team of surveyors and overseeing various projects from inception to completion, particularly office and retail projects.
Responsibilities of Associate Building Surveyor:
- Managing and overseeing building surveying projects, including new construction, refurbishment, and maintenance works
- Conducting building surveys, inspections, and defect analysis
- Providing high-quality technical advice to clients and stakeholders
- Managing budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Leading and mentoring a team of surveyors
- Business development
Requirements of the Associate Building Surveyor:
- MRICS qualified with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in building surveying
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of building regulations and construction legislation
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality building surveying services
- Full UK driving licence
On offer for the Associate Building Surveyor:
- Salary £60,000 - £65,000
