Associate Building Surveyor

We are currently looking for an Associate Building Surveyor to join a leading Construction and Property Consultancy based in Manchester.

About the Role of the Associate Building Surveyor:

As an Associate Building Surveyor, you’ll be involved in a broad range of projects across sectors such as local authority, government, education, rail, infrastructure, and commercial. You’ll take a lead role in managing junior team members and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise will span project execution, client engagement, leadership, and technical delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Associate Building Surveyor:

  • Conducting detailed building surveys and property inspections
  • Leading project management and contract administration for larger, more complex schemes
  • Undertaking due diligence surveys and delivering clear, actionable reports
  • Managing client relationships to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery
  • Supporting business development through identifying new opportunities and fostering repeat business across key sectors

 

Requirements of the Associate Building Surveyor:

  • MRICS accredited
  • Well-rounded experience across core building surveying services, with strong client-facing and work-winning capabilities
  • Willingness to travel as required for projects
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to help build a profitable, high-performing team alongside senior colleagues
