We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Engineer (Civil) in Edinburgh.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects, leading a design team, conducting site visits and attracting new business.
ASSOCIATE ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and deliver civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce accurate and detailed drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software such as Microdrainage, Civils 3D.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the team.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Directors.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years' experience in a UK based consultancy.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with Microdrainage, Civils 3D and Drainage design.
- Chartered status with recognised institution.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- A proactive and organised approach to work, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Brilliant business development skills.
ON OFFER
- £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
