We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Engineer (Civil) in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative and exciting projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial throughout the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects, leading a design team, conducting site visits and attracting new business.  

 

ASSOCIATE ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and deliver civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce accurate and detailed drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software such as Microdrainage, Civils 3D.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the team.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Directors.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years' experience in a UK based consultancy.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with Microdrainage, Civils 3D and Drainage design.
  • Chartered status with recognised institution.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • A proactive and organised approach to work, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Brilliant business development skills.

 

ON OFFER

  • £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
