About the Role
As an Associate Director Building Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in expanding the consultancy’s expertise in party wall matters, retrofit solutions, and ESG initiatives. Ideal for a client-oriented professional, this position will see you managing a diverse project portfolio and mentoring junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing quality standards for building projects to ensure they meet specifications and comply with regulations.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, addressing quality expectations, and effectively resolving any issues.
- Leading pre- and post-contract work, including contract administration and project oversight.
- Conducting detailed building surveys and assessments, compiling compliance reports, and producing rental and capital value reports.
- Performing regular site inspections to verify adherence to plans and industry standards, collaborating with stakeholders to address quality-related issues.
Ideal Candidate:
- Chartered Building Surveyor with 4+ years of experience, ideally in residential and educational sectors.
- Confident in a client-facing role with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Skilled in quality assurance processes, knowledgeable of building regulations, and experienced in contract administration.
- Strong communication skills for report writing and client presentations.
- Flexible, adaptable, and adept at resolving complex project challenges.
