My client are  a leading fire and security company based in Horsham, dedicated to providing top-notch safety solutions to our clients. With a focus on innovation and excellence, they are committed to delivering high-quality services that ensure the protection of people and property.

They are currently seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join their dynamic team. As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in their business development efforts by crafting compelling proposals and bids to secure new contracts. You will work closely with various departments to gather information, analyze requirements, and articulate our value proposition effectively.


  • Researching and understanding client needs and requirements.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather technical and commercial information.
  • Writing and editing persuasive bid documents, proposals, and presentations.
  • Ensuring all submissions are compliant with tender specifications and deadlines.
  • Managing the bid process from inception to submission.
  • Conducting post-submission reviews to identify areas for improvement.


  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer or similar role.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the fire and security industry is desirable but not essential.
