Bid Writer

Bid writer required to join an established national award winning multi-disciplinary Architectural & Surveying consultancy Based regionally with one of the South Offices

You will be joining an award winning practice with social purpose at the heart of everything they do, Joining the Bids & Proposals function to form part of a win work Team alongside business development, marketing, and media production.
The successful candidate will focus on collaborating with strategic and operational leadership teams throughout the company in producing bids and fee proposal opportunities.

The Successful Bid Writer will engage with the key stakeholders during the proposal development (bidding) stage, supporting multi-disciplinary teams in preparing proposals and will ensure our offers are compliant, responsive and of the utmost quality that will help the company grow into a market leader nationally with social purpose as their core value

 Job Description - 

  • Utilize Systems to input marketing data and perform statistical analysis of bids.
  • Interpret marketing and analysis outcomes to provide recommendations to the Marketing Team.
  • Enhance bids by tailoring responses with sector and client specific research.
  • Develop and adjust standard responses to align with changing market conditions and legislation.
  • Complete commercial data requests as part of the bidding process.
  • Perform statistical analysis of historical data to inform commercial decisions.
  • Keep accurate records and stay updated on company-wide projects and experiences.
  • Coordinate supply chain responses and assess commercial terms with Regional Leads.
  • Review commercial terms and identify potential risks.
  • Address stakeholder queries throughout all stages of the bidding process.

Requirements of the Successful Bid Writer

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field (Marketing, Media, English)
  • Previous experience in coordinating high quality proposals, submitted through formal procurement routes in both Private and Public Sector
  • Track record in forward planning available resources to meet multiple and potentially conflicting deadlines
  • Familiarity with education, healthcare, residential and retail sectors (desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office essential
  • Excellent written English
  • Experience using InDesign an advantage
  • Exceptional timekeeping
  • Ability to review and improve written bid submissions
  • CRM competency an advantage
  • UK Driving License required

A highly competitive salary likely to be in the region of £25,000 – £35,000 dependent on experience, generous company benefits, clear career progression path with CPD opportunities.
