Conrad Consulting are delighted to be presenting this "hybrid" position for a Business Development Manager/Studio Coordinator to join an Architectural studio based in Solihull, West Midlands.
The practice are medium in sized and heading towards the direction of a multi-disciplinary practice, opening up positions within Project Management and Surveying, along with their Architectural base.
To facilitate further growth within the business, the practice are seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager/Studio Coordinator who will work in a hybrid role, focused on bringing in new clients to the business, along with general office management tasks.
The responsibilities for this hybrid position will be as follows:
Business Development Manager:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our footprint in the industry.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments to drive strategic decision-making.
- Identify new markets, clients, partnerships, and services to pursue.
- Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
- Build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and develop proposals to address them.
- Pitch sales and products to new and existing clients.
- Attend conferences and events to build industry partnerships and stay updated on trends.
- Create and send out fee proposals.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the directors and associates.
Studio Co-ordinator:
- Ensure the studio is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage correspondence and direct phone calls to the appropriate individual.
- Welcome clients and visitors, creating a professional and welcoming environment.
- Track project processes using project management tools and provide updates to the management team.
- Ensure smooth studio operations, including scheduling key meetings and taking meeting minutes.
- Assist with studio meetings, reviews, and other key meetings.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the directors and associates.
A salary in the region of £34,000-£40,000 will be offered, alongside an incentive/commission scheme to be paid on new work/clients brought into the business. Depending on fee size, the commission scheme would generally be between 3-10%.
