My client is currently looking for a commercially aware Chartered Building Surveyor for their Birmingham team. You will be joining a small team who are part of a much bigger organisation.

Responsibilities of the Chartered Building Surveyor:
- Monitoring the deterioration or defects of a property and offering advice on repair work.
- Engage in the development of asset management plans from a Building Consultancy perspective
- Negotiating the repair of work or a financial settlement if required.
- Manage the delivery of strategic works and projects
- Managing projects for various refurb projects
- Experience in Contract Administration
- Planned Maintenance Surveys
- Keep up to date with wider industry best practice
Requirements of the Chartered Building Surveyor:
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- Strong business acumen
- Keen eye for detail
- IT skills (AutoCAD, NBS, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel and other bespoke software).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full Driving License
On offer for the Chartered Building Surveyor:
The starting salary for this position ranges from £40,000 to £50,000
