Are you an ambitious Chartered Quantity Surveyor seeking an exciting opportunity to join a world-leading construction consultancy? Our client, a renowned name in the construction industry, is currently looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join their dynamic team in Nottingham.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake both pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties, including cost planning, cost control, valuation, feasibility studies, and risk management.
- Collaborate closely with clients and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct detailed analysis of construction drawings and specifications to assess cost implications.
- Manage contracts, including reviewing and negotiating contractual agreements and resolving disputes.
- Provide accurate and timely reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Possess a recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- MRICS qualified
- Proven experience in a consultancy role with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant legislation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- A strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a team player.
On offer for the Chartered Quantity Surveyor:
- Salary £45,000 - £55,000
