Chartered Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading consultancy firm in Birmingham, is seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The role involves managing costs, contracts, and providing detailed cost analyses from project inception to completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Perform risk assessments and offer cost-related advice to clients.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee post-contract services, including cost control, valuation of work, and final accounts.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Chartered status with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost management, contract administration, and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
