£50,000 - £60,000 (+4,450 car allowance)

 

My client in Liverpool is looking for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor ready to step in at a Senior level and work on a variety of Industrial, Residential & Commerical projects.

 

The responsibilities of the role will be diverse and will involve taking the lead on various projects on a day-to-day basis, including (but not limited to):

 

Pre-Contract services:

  • Offer guidance on procurement strategy, risk management, value engineering, and the overall tendering process.
  • Provide advice on contract arrangements.
  • Draft tender documents.
  • Assist clients in tender evaluation processes.
  • Compile contract documentation.

 

Post Contract services:

  • Offering advice on contractual matters and procedures.
  • Assessing completed work and approving progress payments.
  • Monitoring changes in design, measuring, valuing, and negotiating variations.
  • Managing budgets and providing cost reports to clients.
  • Negotiating final accounts.
  • Collaborating closely with the team and mentoring/working alongside graduates.
  • Establish and develop client contacts and relationships.

 

Qualifications

  • Hold an RICS-accredited degree.
  • Either possess Chartered status or be actively working towards obtaining it.
  • Demonstrate pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience through examples of projects they have been involved in.
