Are you a Chartered Structural Engineer looking for a great opportunity with an up-and-coming firm?
Our client is a growing structural and civil engineering consultancy delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the residential and commercial sectors. Their work spans private homes through to mid and high-rise buildings to £5M+.
As part of their continued growth, they are expanding their technical team to meet the evolving demands of the Building Safety Act, with a particular focus on High-Risk Buildings.
To deliver this requirement they are seeking a Chartered structural engineer at senior level.
About you:
- Strong experience designing mid and high-rise buildings in a variety of materials
- Fully chartered with a strong track record inspecting and assessing existing buildings
- Motivated by technical excellence and meaningful reporting
- Able to have a strong influence within ambitious team
- Strong technical skills across concrete, steel, masonry, and timber
- Proficient in structural inspections, assessments, and report writing
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and remotely
- Effective communicator, able to represent the company professionally on site and with clients
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or contribute to structural reporting for HRBs under the Building Safety Act
- Undertake inspections and condition assessments of existing structures
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams to gather information and deliver technical outputs
You will be offered flexible and hybrid working and part time (3-4 days/week) may be considered.
