Civil Engineer
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has become available with our client, a thriving multidisciplinary consultancy, for a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years’ post-graduation experience to join their office in Hertford on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be joining their award-winning structures team and will be required to hit the ground running on a range of public & private sector projects. The successful candidate must have experience and knowledge of working on projects in the following sectors: Residential, Educational, Healthcare, Retail, Commercial or Leisure markets.
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the design, development, and delivery of civil engineering projects in the Residential, Educational, Healthcare, Retail, Commercial, and Leisure sectors;
- Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to provide innovative solutions and ensure project objectives are met;
- Conducting detailed site investigations and surveys to assess feasibility and identify potential challenges;
- Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and reports;
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations;
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies;
- Assisting with project cost estimation, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering;
- Between 2-5 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering;
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
- A proactive and results-driven mindset.
