The company currently employs 30 across Civil and Structural disciplines with the Civil department having a headcount of 3.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer who is on the cusp of achieving Chartered status for this position however, if you are already Charted, please apply.
As a pivotal member of the civil engineering department, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of projects, from preconstruction drawings to hand over.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver innovative solutions for various projects, including fish farms, SSE framework, Arnold Clark framework, schools, distilleries, and more.
- Utilise your proficiency in microdrainage software to develop effective drainage solutions for diverse project requirements.
- Create detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD, both in 2D and 3D, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct site visits (alongside senior team members) and surveys to gather relevant data and assess project feasibility.
- Provide technical expertise and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Actively working towards Chartered status with a recognised professional engineering institution.
- Proven experience with microdrainage software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience in both 2D and 3D design.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
