Our client is seeking a talented Engineer with experience in Civil Engineering to join a forward-thinking infrastructure team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and high-impact projects, with a particular focus on Aviation and Highways sectors.

Responsibilities
- Creating 3D models using Civil 3D software, including earthworks, pavements (highway or aviation), and alignments.
- Converting 3D models into detailed designs.
- Coordinating the production of detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring they meet technical standards and industry regulations.
- Collaborating with other design disciplines to develop design models, calculations, and sketches.
- Overseeing the quality of drawing production and providing guidance to junior colleagues.
- Reviewing consultants’ and contractors’ design proposals and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Managing document uploads and downloads within the project’s document management system.
- Following BIM protocols and office document standards.
- Providing essential support to the project team, assisting in preparing fee proposals, and contributing to project meetings and client discussions.
- Participating in site inspections and producing surveys when required.
About you
- Proficiency in creating 3D models and extracting sections and quantities using Civil 3D software.
- Knowledge of design guides specific to Aviation and/or Highways sectors.
- Strong understanding of relevant engineering legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
- Experience with engineering software and tools, as well as the application of technical design knowledge.
- A commercial mindset with an awareness of time and budget constraints.
