Job Title: Civil Technician

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

A thriving medium-sized consultancy that prioritises a hands-on approach with their clients. They specialise in delivering high-quality engineering solutions from conceptualisation to construction, and we are seeking a talented Civil Technician with 3D designing experience to enhance our team.

 

THE ROLE

As a Civil Technician with 3D designing experience, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and architects to develop detailed 3D models and plans.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction.
  • Utilise 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) to create accurate and visually compelling project representations.
  • Ensure that designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Play a key role in the preparation of construction documents, including detailed drawings and visualizations.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Civil Technician with a strong emphasis on 3D designing.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools.
  • A solid understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
