CIVILs infrastructure TECHNICIAN
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (Permanent)

We are working with a consultancy which delivers projects across multiple sectors including Highways, Civils, Structural and Architecture, who are looking for a Senior Civils 3D Technician to work in their Birmingham office.
You should have min 3 years’ experience in the design of civils and infrastructure in relation to buildings projects. The role will include Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D design for roads and drainage for various types of developments, mainly in the urban and residential sectors. The role
- A technical background in infrastructure (highways & drainage) design
- Proficiency in using Revit, AutoCAD, and Civils 3D. Proficiency in Revit would also be advantageous.
- Undertake design and modelling to produce smart, technical compliant and appropriate designs for the site, constraints and adopted design standards
- Managing tasks and exceeding expectations
- Development of conceptual design and producing engineering designs and details
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Possess strong analytical ability and a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and current design standards and specifications
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues
- Experience in BIM desirable
- Ability to work to deadlines
