Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contract management processes for civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams to develop project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any deviations from the contract and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing any contractual issues or disputes promptly.
  • Prepare and present reports on contract performance and financial metrics to senior management.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on contract management best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager within the civil engineering or construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and project management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
