Engineer / Senior Engineer
Newcastle outskirts
£45,000 - £55,000 DOE + car allowance
Our client is a nationally recognised name in residential development, and they are looking to expand their engineering capability in the Newcastle area.
As a result, they are seeking an experienced engineer to join their team on the outskirts of the city. They are looking for an engineer who, preferably, has experience working for a house builder with the capability to provide engineering support and technical guidance to regional and site offices. Or, you could have consultancy experience and be looking to join a house builder utilising your design experience in a different way, offering value engineering and managing consultants work.
Required:
- Experience in residential engineering
- In depth knowledge of sectional agreements, including 38 and 278, and working on the associated legal agreements, pushing them through
- Experience attending site, providing support and on-site solutions
- Project Management
- A skilled communicator who is able to work at all levels, with good negotiation skills and commercial awareness
- In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation
- Minimum HNC with an engineering degree
