They are seeking a talented Estimator to join their team in Fife. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial fit outs and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial fit out projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for bids.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and pricing negotiations to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and present estimates to clients with confidence and clarity.
- Continuously monitor project costs and provide regular updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to inform estimating strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial construction industry, with specific experience in fit outs highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex project requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
