A leading design & engineering consultancy with a strong presence in the nuclear market is seeking a seasoned Civil, Structural & Architectural Technician (CS&A) who is civils biased.

Role Overview

As a Civil, Structural & Architectural (CS&A) Technician – Civil, you'll join a dynamic design team and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions across civil, structural, and architectural projects. You'll tackle uniquely challenging assignments and elevate design standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead delivery of nuclear design, site inspections, and construction support across public and private sector projects in the UK and internationally.
  • Develop comprehensive designs for facilities, structures, and infrastructure using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks at all design stages.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, integrated, and compliant design outcomes.
  • Maintain strong client communication and showcase design presentations.
  • Mentor and support CS&A apprentices and technicians, fostering their professional development.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience across the full lifecycle of CS&A design.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD and BIM processes.
  • Solid understanding of engineering and architectural drawing standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across disciplines.
  • Formal qualification: HNC or equivalent in civil, structural, architectural, or related engineering discipline.

Security Clearance

  • Candidates must obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance, as the role is subject to national security and export control requirements. Eligibility may depend on place of birth, nationality, or residency in line with UK Security Vetting guidelines.
