Key Responsibilities
As a Part 2 or Part 3 Architectural Assistant, you will support the design and delivery of a wide range of projects:
- Assisting with concept and detailed design, from early feasibility to construction stages.
- Preparing planning drawings, technical details, and presentation materials.
- Supporting senior staff in client meetings, design reviews, and site visits.
- Contributing to BIM models and technical drawing packages (Vectorworks experience desirable; training available).
- Supporting sustainable design initiatives and bringing fresh, innovative ideas to projects.
- Participating in internal design critiques and project reviews to develop professional knowledge.
About You
- RIBA Part 2 qualified or Part 3 (pre-qualification) with some UK practice experience.
- Strong design, technical, and presentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Understanding of UK planning policy, building regulations, and construction methods (mentorship provided).
- Proficiency or willingness to learn BIM-compatible software (Vectorworks advantageous).
- Genuine interest in sustainable architecture and innovative design solutions.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow professionally with mentorship support.
