Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Work experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant required to join the Leeds office of a national property design consultancy to support the successful design and technical delivery of a variety of challenging projects across multiple sectors from conception – completion.
Our client is one of the countries most respected property design and management consultancies and have regional offices throughout the UK, they are a multi-disciplinary practice and their expanding business offers exceptional career prospects especially so within their established Architectural Team in Leeds.

They offer an excellent Architectural experience with an exciting core portfolio, the successful Part 2 Architectural Assistant will be treated to a variety of work encompassing the following projects –

Multiple leisure related schemes up to £20m in value, the majority of which are due planning consent imminently.
Various grass roots football foundation projects, to include new and upgraded facilities, viewing terraces, training facilities.
Housing – New build housing, majority of which is net zero, housing estate renewals & refurbishments, energy efficiency upgrades.

Requirements of the Part 2 Architectural Assistant include:

 

 

  • RIBA Part 2 Qualified (UK recognised qualifications)
  • Approximately 2 years of post Part 2 experience (desirable)
  • Revit knowledge would be highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of both AutoCAD and Sketchup.
  • Strong conceptual design and presentation skills
  • Ability and confidence to work autonomously, and as part of an enthusiastic design team.
  • Excellent organisation & technical ability
  • Keen interest in the technical aspects of the preparation of specification writing, detailed design and construction drawing.

Salary offered for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant is between £27,000 - £30,000 dependant on current experience level, alongside a competitive benefits package. The position is offering a super flexible hybrid working policy where staff typically split their time between being in the office 50% of the time and working remotely the remainder.
