Outstanding opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join one of the UK's most respected Architectural practices, to be based within their regional office in Birmingham city centre, West Midlands.
The practice have been established well over 30 years and have offices dotted throughout the UK and are consistently placed within the AJ100 list of practices year on year. The Birmingham studio is home to around 40 members of staff currently, comprising of Architects, Technologists, Interior Designers and Architectural Assistants.
Due to sustained growth and a solid pipeline of work going into 2025, the practice are seeking to appoint a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to their team. Being surrounded by highly experienced Architects, this is an ideal opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to gain valuable experience in the industry on your way to becoming a fully qualified Architect.
The Birmingham studio work in a broad range of projects and sectors across the board, tending to focus on Mixed Use, Commercial, Education and Residential projects throughout the UK.
The practice use AutoCAD & Revit as their main software packages, so proficiency in these is essential.
Requirements of the Part 2 Architectural Assistant as follows:
- UK recognised qualifications at Part 1 & 2 level.
- At least 1-3 years of industry experience, with focus at RIBA stages 1-4 being ideal for this role.
- Experience of working in the Commercial sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit software.
- Based locally to Birmingham
- Driving license would help.
The practice offer hybrid working, usually 3 days in office and 2 working from home. However, in the first instance you will likely need to be in the office 5 days a week for the probation period, so Part 2 Architectural Assistants applying to this role should be based in, or within commuting distance, of Birmingham.
Salary in the region of £25,000-£30,000 dependent on experience will be offered to the successful Part 2.
