What You’ll Be Doing

As a Part 2 Assistant, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team delivering concept and planning stage work for commercial, retail and urban residential projects. You’ll support design development and contribute to the success of multiple ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conceptual and planning designs for UK-based commercial and urban residential projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on project delivery.
  • Contribute to design reviews, feasibility studies, and presentations.
  • Use hand sketching, Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp to communicate design ideas.
  • Support the leadership team in developing project strategies and coordinating design outputs.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Technical:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and ideally Revit.
  • Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and CDM Regulations.
  • Ability to use a variety of media in design development and documentation.

  • Highly organised, with strong time management and multitasking abilities.

  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to work.

Qualifications:

  • RIBA Part 2 qualification (Masters in Architecture)
