Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Structures team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality project delivery;
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, actively seeking new business opportunities and fostering growth;
- Oversee the design and analysis of complex structural systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines, to deliver integrated solutions;
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company, actively participating in business development activities and decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- A degree in civil or structural engineering;
- A Chartered engineer;
- A proven track record as a senior-level structural engineer, with significant experience in the design and delivery of structural projects;
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving project objectives;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders;
- In-depth knowledge of relevant engineering software and tools, coupled with a solid understanding of industry codes and standards;
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and contribute to the growth and development of the business.
