Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Planner who will play a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of electrical transmission projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning within the construction industry, and if you also happen to have specific experience in electrical transmission, then even better! Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for electrical transmission projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize planning software and tools to optimize project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Planner in the energy sector, specifically with electrical transmission projects.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant degree in engineering, project management, or a related field is preferred.
