As a Chartered Civil Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of infrastructure, working on a wide range of predominantly Network Rail projects.

 

Here are the key responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Lead and manage the design and delivery of rail, bridge, or road projects from conception to completion.

Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical proficiency to conduct finite element analysis, ensuring structural integrity and performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and clients, to achieve project objectives.

Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional development.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

 

Requirements: To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Chartered Status: Hold chartered status with a recognized engineering institution.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrate experience in rail, new bridge design, or road design projects.
  • Finite Element Analysis: Strong proficiency in finite element analysis software.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills.

 

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Pension of 5%- and 33-days annual leave.

37.5-hour week with hybrid working.
