Our client is offering a passionate Structural Engineer the opportunity to work on the conservation of some of Edinburgh’s most iconic historic buildings and the design of modern structures.
The successful Senior Structural Engineer will join a small design office of 15 problem solving engineers based in central Edinburgh, a short 15-minute walk from Princes Street.
The Senior Structural Engineer will be given creative freedom to influence the design process and on occasion take the lead role on projects.
The ideal candidate will be problem solver with a genuine interest in conservation and historic building design.
The successful Senior Structural Engineer will be someone that is Chartered or nearing this career milestone.
In addition, they will be someone that is comfortable working alone, managing own workloads and happy to work collaboratively with other engineers in the office.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will report directly to two directors although, all members of the office are happy to offer support and mentoring.
Although, working from home on a hybrid basis is a genuine option, the two directors are keen to be hands on and believe that this creates a close-knit office environment.

- £45,000 – £52,000
- 37.5 Hour work week
