As a Principal Engineer you will work on a wide range of projects within a significant defence framework in Scotland for one of the most recognised and respected engineering consultancies in the UK.

Our client has been appointed by the government to work on a large framework as lead consulting engineer.

The projects have been planned to span over the next 6 years and will support the Clyde Infrastructure Programme, the Royal Navy and various other defence requirements across the UK.

This role is suited to candidates with several years’ structural design experience, ideally working on large structures and buildings - direct experience of working on Nucelar/ Defence projects is not essential as comprehensive training and support will be provided.

Those who wish to join a design team and progress to director level quickly will find this position an excellent and challenging prospect.

The role demands that you will be comfortable working autonomously as we all part of a team, working collaboratively with internal and external clients, decision makers and industry stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects that frequently exceed that value of £400M.
