Principal Structural Engineer

£60,000 - £67,000 plus benefits
Our client is an award-winning firm of consulting engineers with a number of national offices. They take pride in their vast technical expertise and proactive approach which ensures client retention and ongoing project wins. Their workload includes schemes ranging in size and complexity and they focus on delivering integrated engineering in an imaginative and solution-based way.
Their Bristol office is expanding and as part of this expansion process they are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer.
Requirements:
- BEng or MEng in structural engineering;
- Chartered or near Chartered IStructE or MICE;
- Experience working on bid proposals;
- Excellent client relationship skills, with good local knowledge and contacts;
- Knowledge of dynamic and extreme environmental loading would be beneficial;
- Analysis software including Tekla and TEDDS;
- Ability to produce calculations and CDM activities;
- Help the Director grow the structures team;
- Ability to assist and mentor more junior team members.
