Principal Structural Engineer
Cardiff
£55,000 - £60,000 plus benefits
Chartered or near Chartered Principal Structural Engineer is sought for this thriving engineering practice based in Cardiff. You will bring with you a vast experience in design of RC, load bearing masonry and steel frames, amongst others. Knowledge of onshore wind farms would also be an advantage.
As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will run a team of engineers and technicians, supporting their progression and career development.
Required:
- Strong business acumen allowing you to be responsible for project delivery within budget
- Experience in residential schemes, care homes, industrial and commercial developments
- Skilled in the use of TEKLA, Tedds and Revit structure
Your current role should be at a similar level, with similar responsibility for projects and staff.
The role reports to Directors and, under their supervision, the right candidate may be fast-tracked to Associate.
Primarily office based, there is potential to discuss hybrid working.
