Our client are currently seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role and have a proven track record of leading and managing complex structural projects.
They will have excellent technical knowledge and be comfortable liaising with clients, architects, and contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Structural Engineers.
- Manage projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to a high standard.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
- Contribute to business development activities.
Requirements:
- Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE or MICE).
- Excellent technical knowledge in structural design.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of engineers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in liaising with clients, architects, and contractors.
- Ability to deliver projects to tight deadlines and within budget.
Our client offers a competitive salary of £45,000 – £55,000 and benefits package including a 6% Pension, as well as opportunities for career progression within the company.
