Outstanding opportunity here for a Project Architect to join a growing and ambitious Architectural practice based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham city centre.
The practice are currently around 40 people strong and are looking to grow as we head into the 2nd half of 2025. This begins with the appointment of a Project Architect to join their growing team.
Due to continued and sustained increase in workloads the practice are seeking to appoint a Project or Senior level Architect on a permanent basis. Long term will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects in varied sectors, including; Education/Higher Education, Industrial, Commercial, Mixed Use, Office Blocks and more. The practice are particularly busy in the Healthcare sector, so experience in this area would be advantageous, although not necessarily essential. This is a job running position, so an Architect with job running experience within a variety of sectors would be perfect for this role.
The practice utilise AutoCAD and Revit software. Usually, the practice would offer training to those without Revit experience in the first few months, however on this occasion Revit proficiency will be required from the get go. Due to the projects you will be starting out with, there will be very little time to get up to speed with Revit software if you aren't already familiar with the package.
Key requirements of the Project Architect as follows:
- UK recognised qualifications at Part 1, 2 and 3 level
- At least 2 years of post qualification experience, ideally already working at Project or Senior Architect level.
- Varied portfolio of experience is essential, with preferable areas worked in being; Healthcare, Industrial and Education
- Revit proficiency, with at least 2 years of hands on experience with the software.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- Team leading and job running capabilities.
In return, the Project Architect will be offered a salary in the region of £38,000-£45,000 per annum alongside a competitive benefits package.
