Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and contribute to their continued growth and success. Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor:
- Cost Estimation
- Budgeting and Financial Planning
- Cost Control
- Tendering and Procurement
- Contract Administration
- Risk Assessment
- Project Monitoring
- Client Management
Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:
- BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
- Professional qualification (MRICS) or working towards chartership
- Minimum of 5 years' post graduate experience, preferably in a consultancy environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient in using industry-specific software (such as CostX, or similar), as well as Microsoft Office suite.
- Full driving licence and prepared to travel when required
On offer for the Quantity Surveyor:
- A starting salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and MRICS qualification
- 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays
