We are currently partnering with a well-established small real estate and property consultancy based in Leeds. Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and contribute to their continued growth and success. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and skilled professional looking to take their career to the next level.


Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor:

  • Cost Estimation
  • Budgeting and Financial Planning
  • Cost Control
  • Tendering and Procurement
  • Contract Administration
  • Risk Assessment
  • Project Monitoring
  • Client Management


Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:

  • BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
  • Professional qualification (MRICS) or working towards chartership
  • Minimum of 5 years' post graduate experience, preferably in a consultancy environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using industry-specific software (such as CostX, or similar), as well as Microsoft Office suite.
  • Full driving licence and prepared to travel when required


On offer for the Quantity Surveyor:

  • A starting salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and MRICS qualification
  • 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme (5%)
