Our client, an international cost consultancy, is looking to grow their Leeds team with a highly skilled and ambitious Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate should ideally have experience working on projects within the healthcare, commercial, education or retail sector. With a strong pipeline of projects, this is the perfect role for someone who is looking to develop their career further in a forward-thinking company.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of estimates and cost plans
- Tender analysis
- Prepare cost reports during the whole project lifecycle
- Preparation of final accounts
- Manage and develop relationships with existing and new clients
- Support the lead Quantity Surveyor on projects
Requirements:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- MRICS or working towards chartership
- 2+ years’ experience in a consultancy environment
- Experience in use of and knowledge of JCT or NEC3 contracts
- Proven track record at delivering projects on time and budget to client expectations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- A full driving licence and prepared to travel as required
On offer for the Quantity Surveyor:
- A starting salary between £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience and chartership
