Role and Responsibilities:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a range of construction projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing cost estimates and budgets.
- Conducting feasibility studies.
- Managing tender documentation and processes.
- Performing risk and value management.
- Monitoring project progress and providing financial reports.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Providing expert advice on contractual matters.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction consultancy.
- MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Proficient in cost management and project control techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
On offer for the Quantity Surveyor:
- Salary £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and chartership
