Our client is seeking a flood risk engineer to join their team based in London, who are at the forefront of translating AI into real world capabilities in the planning and engineering sector.
You will work with local flood authorities on flood risk assessments for developers and planners.
Their work is innovative and they need a digitally minded flood risk engineer who wants to help them shape the future of the profession. You will be inspired by their mission to transform flood risk through innovative technology, delivering faster and safer solutions to enable sustainable development.
Working alongside the company directors, you will review flood risk outputs and provide ongoing consulting support to clients. The role will see you liaising with clients, consultants and regulators to advise on the development of the firm’s flood risk product offering.
About you:
- Chartered engineer
- At least 6 years’ UK experience in FRA’s, drainage strategies and SuDS design
- Experience using software such as Flood Modeller, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage and TUFLOW
- Ability to work on concurrent schemes
- Strong understanding of flood risk and planning
